Pop-Break Live: Garbage at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ

Shirley Manson is still the #1 crush of fans of all ages (we can’t believe the Scottish-born singer is nearly 50 years old). Manson proved that when she and the boys of Garbage (Duke Erikson and Steve Marker. Butch Vig was not on this tour.) came to The Starland Ballroom on Sayreville, NJ on July 27. The band stopped in Sayreville as part of their “Strange Little Birds Tour.” The tour is in support of their brand new record of the same name, which dropped in June 2016.

The show was one of the most hotly anticipated shows of the summer for the Central Jersey venue. The band unequivocally delivered for rabid Garbage fans, who had yearning for Manson and the band’s alt rock classics like “Stupid Girl,” “I Think I’m Paranoid,” and “#1 Crush.”

Pop-Break’s Saidy Lopez caught the band in action.
