Kingsman: The Golden Circle Teaser Poster Revealed
Comic book movies are all the rage these days. Often not audiences tend to forget that some of their favorite comic book movies are not even super hero based. Kingsman: The Secret Service took the genre by storm, so when the fan’s learned of the official title for 2015 film’s sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, fans were delighted.
Today, leading actor Taron Egerton revealed the first teaser poster for the film via Twitter. The poster sports a minimalistic design, featuring a pair of sunglasses missing a lens and a message that reads, “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.”
The poster highly suggests that Colin Firth’s character, Harry Hart, may be returning despite his violent death in the original film.
Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle is currently in production and will feature the return of Egerton (fresh off Eddie the Eagle) as former street kid turned Kingsman Gary “Eggsy” Unwin, and Mark Strong as the tech wizard “Merlin.” Currently, Pedro Pascal of Game of Thrones fame is attached to the film as is Oscar winner Julianne Moore. There are rumors Halle Berry may be joining the cast as the head of the CIA.
The film will once again be directed by Matthew Vaughn, who has a hand in writing the film, much like the first one. Vaughn’s directing credits include: Layer Cake, Stardust, Kick-Ass, and X-Men: First Class. He got his start as a producer, working as the main man on Guy Ritchie’s cult classics Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch.
